DAY 3 (BLD) PECAN FARMING, LOCAL ART & RELAX:                 Monday 12 April 2020

Starting the day, you will discover the southern hemisphere largest Pecan plantation. Hear how one mans dream of creating the first commercial pecan operation came into fruition and taste for yourself why this exotic nut is so sought-after. After enjoying lunch at a local pub we visit the Moree Plains Gallery and one of the most extensive Aboriginal Art collections in regional New South Wales. Most of the art work comes from private collections that have been donated so it is a display you will see only in Moree. Time now to relax back in the waters and rejuvenate before dinner. The benefits of natural artesian mineral waters were discovered thousands of years ago and have been used for their curative powers since ancient times – who are we to argue with that history!
